It could be I am slightly confused but back when I owned the lost souls book I have vague memories of a sticker in the back referring to an inhous magazine. Was there one?

You're thinking of The Scroll magazine from Sage Lore, the original publishers of Lost Souls 2nd edition. Issues 8 contained The Final Concert, a Lost Souls adventure, and issue 10 contained Halloween Horrors, five new foes for Lost Souls.

Issue 9 contained an early version of Theater of Blood. The last issue I have is issue 12.

Oh, that's interesting. Was the other material incorparated in the online version? Die the the scroll go much higher in issues? I had a quick look online to see if I could help locate the magazine but no joy. I did notice a mention of an adventure in a magazine called maelstrom issue 4?

Regards

The Final Concert has gone missing. I don't seem to have a copy of it anymore. I don't have a copy of the Halloween Horrors either, but I think the five foes were all included in Cemetery Plots and if that’s the case then they're all in the online version of Lost Souls. I never saw an issue of The Scroll after #12. It might have been the last issue. There was also an underwater adventure written by Lester Smith (of TSR fame) in Challenge #65. I never saw the adventure in Maelstrom.

Just looked for challenge magazine and found as well as Post Mortem in #65 there was also Bride of Baron Samedi in #77. I hadn't realised the variety of places Lost Souls had popped up in.

I located the file for The Final Concert along with a couple of other adventures that I hadn't gotten around to posting for one reason or another. The Final Concert and Bride of Baron Samedi are now online. The third adventure, Sibling Rivalry, needs more work before it can make its public debut. Baron Samedi is interesting because it features a medium PC, and mediums aren't included in the current rules.

Brilliant, I'll download them now. It makes me wonder what else is lurking on your hard disk ;-)

Thanks for your efforts

I have issues 8 and 10 and could scan in these articles for you if you are still interested. I am missing Issues #1 and 2 (and one other one that I cant remember) if anyone has copies they are interested in parting with.
